How to change your display name in Fortnite?

You cannot change your display inside the game. You will have to sign in on the website to change your display name in Fortnite.

Here are the steps to change the display name in Fortnite.

Step 1: Go to epicgames.com and sign in with your account details.

Step 2: Once you are inside your account, hover the mouse over your display name at the top-right corner.

Step 3: Then select Account from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: Under the Account Info, click on the edit (pen) button beside your display name. 

Step 5: Enter the new name that you want to be displayed in Fortnite. Then, re-enter that same name in the box below to confirm your choice.

Step 6: Click on the box that displays I understand I can not change my display name again for 2 weeks after this change. Then click on the Confirm button to change your Fortnite name. 

The next time you open Fortnite, the updated name will be displayed. As mentioned above, you won’t be able to change your name in Fortnite for the next two weeks.
