Cyberflix not working: Quick Fix

  • by
  • 3 min read

Cyberflix is an Android app that can be used to watch movies and TV shows online for free without any subscriptions or payments. The app is also available on Amazon Firestick and Windows. However, since it jumps around several hoops to serve free content to its users, there are often issues with the app.

In this article, we’re looking at a few fixes you can try out if Cyberlink is not working.

However, before we get started, keep in mind that Cyberflix can be a potentially dangerous app, as evident by the Play Protect warning when installing the app.

Play Protect warns users with the following message (as shown in the photo below), “This app is fake. It tries to take over your device or steal your data. Even if you have heard of this app or the app developer, it’s still dangerous to install an app from an untrusted source”.

Restart your device

Whether you’re running the app on an Android or any other device, it’s a good idea first to restart your device and try again. Restarting your device can fix a bunch of seemingly random issues regardless of the device or the issue.

Check your internet connection

Cyberflix needs an active internet connection to work correctly. If you cannot access the service or the app is malfunctioning, check to see if you’ve got a proper, stable internet connection. If you’re on mobile data, check to make sure you’re getting good network coverage, and that mobile data is enabled. If you’re on WiFi, make sure you have internet access and good signals.

Use a VPN

Because of the nature of the app, it’s highly recommended that you use a VPN. If you’re getting DNS unresolved errors or the app is unable to connect to the Cyberflix servers, try using a VPN.

Enable aut0-resolve settings

Once you’ve installed the latest version of the app, make sure you’ve enabled the Auto Resolve HD Link setting, and disabled Show HD Links only.

Now restart your phone and try again.

Reinstall the Cyberlink app

If clearing the cache didn’t help, you might have to go ahead and delete the app only to reinstall it again. This can help remove any and all corrupt data that might be interfering with the app’s functionality.

Also, make sure that you download the app’s APK file from the official site. The app is rather popular, and there are a lot of downloads available from third-party sites that can be malicious.
