Warhammer Darktide 4K is a first-person shooter game that was launched in late 2022. However, many players started reporting Backend error:Error signing in while launching the game.

Check the server status
This error has nothing to do with you and everything to do with Fatshark’s server. Nonetheless, you can try some usual fixes to correct any issues arising from your side before blaming the companies.

Test your internet connection
You can factory reset the router if you think there is a problem with it or try to update the latest firmware on the router.
You can also talk with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to find out the current status of the internet in your area. Furthermore, you can use the services of third-party websites like Downdetector or Speedtest by Ookla to check your internet speed.
Check Firewall settings
Another way is to check whether the Firewall is on or off. If the Firewall is activated, then you must configure the Firewall to allow the game to run.
Here are the steps to configure Firewall in Windows:
Step 1: Press Windows+R and then type Firewall.cpl into the run prompt, then press Enter.

Step 2: Click Restore Defaults from the menu on the left.

Step 3: Then, click on Restore Defaults and select Yes to confirm the prompt.

Power cycling the network devices
Power cycling basically means turning off any electrical and then turning it back on. If you are experiencing a backend error on Darktide, you can try to power cycle your modem and router. Just unplug the devices and wait for a minute or so. Then plug the devices back and then restart the game.

Verify game files
Here’s how to verify game files on Steam:
Step 1: Head over to your Steam Library, right-click on Warhammer 4K and select Properties.

Step 2: Head over to the Local Files tab.

Step 3: Click on Verify integrity of local files… and let Steam do its thing.
