Bharatpe was late to the business compared to rival UPI payment apps like Google Pay, Bhim, Paytm and PhonePe. But with its out-of-box approach, it could capture a large chunk of the market by approaching retailers, shop owners and small businesses.

With so many online payment options available to traders today, switching to a different alternative for a better deal is only customary.

If you are not satisfied with the features offered by Bharatpe and wish to delete the account on the platform before moving to another UPI-enabled app. Then here is what you need to know.

Can you delete a Bharatpe account?

As per Bharatpe policy, the account on the platform can not be deactivated once you have registered with the app using your phone number.

Also, while using the Bharatpe app, any sensitive information relating to your Bank account. Home or Business address, PAN number, Aadhar number, Phone number and others can not be altered once saved.

Even if you refrain from signing into the Bharatpe account for a considerable time, the company will still not suspend your account. It will continue keeping your Basic and KYC information.

Accordingly, if you want to stop using your Bharatpe account, the best course of action is to stop using the platform for any transaction and immediately remove all the QR codes and BharatSwipe machines from your business outlet.

Furthermore, you can inform your regular customers about your shift to a different payment service provider.

Before signing out from the application, make sure you have successfully transferred all the credit balance from Bharatpe to your Bank account.
