Facebook launched two new Portal devices, a new 10-inch portable Portal Go for US$199 and the next-gen Portal+ with a 14-inch HD tilting display for $349.

Both the Portal devices are available to pre-order at portal.facebook.com and will start shipping on October 19. Facebook has also introduced new features for small businesses with Portal for Business.

The new entrant to the lineup, Portal Go, comes with a 12MP camera with a wide field of view for video calls and a company-claimed “long-lasting battery”. The device doubles up as a speaker and a digital photo frame to display Facebook and Instagram photos or from the phone’s camera roll.

The 14-inch Portal+ also features a 12MP camera with a wide field of view. It also features stereo speakers for high-fidelity sound and delivers better audio quality.

Facebook also introduced a new service for SMBs called Portal for Business. It will use Portal’s video calling and collaboration tools to deploy and manage Portal devices. SMBs can create and manage Facebook Work accounts for their teams. This account will be available for upcoming Facebook work products over the next year.

A Portal device manager will enable companies to manage devices set up by employees, including device settings and status. They can also reboot, or factory reset these devices remotely.

Portal for Business is currently being tested in closed beta in USA. People can participate in their early access program here.
