Calculate total percentage

If you want to calculate the total percentage of two cells in the datasheet in Excel, then follow the steps below:

Step 1: In the below-mentioned example, we will calculate the percentage of A2 and B2 so that we will type the formula =A2/B2 in C2.

Step 2: The result of A2 and B2 will be calculated; you have to convert it into the percentage. On the Home tab, click on % in the Number section.

Step 3: It will be converted to a percentage.

Calculate the percentage between two numbers

The formula to calculate the percentage between two numbers in a datasheet in Excel is similar. This formula determines how much the new value differs from the old one and divides that difference by the old value.

Step 1: In the example, we will calculate the percentage between A2 and B2 and enter the formula =(A2-B2)/B2.

Step 2: The result will be calculated; you must convert it into a percentage by clicking on the % sign in the Number section.

Step 3: The percentage will be calculated.

How to increase/decrease decimal places?

To increase or decrease the decimal places in the percentage column, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Select the percentage column and click on .0 (with left arrow) to decrease decimal places, and click on .00 (with right arrow) to increase decimal places.
