Crafting arrows in Minecraft

We’ve already covered how to craft bows in Minecraft. While bows are useful ranged weapons in the game, they’re incomplete without arrows. Arrows also act as ammunition for crossbows and dispensers and can be combined with in-game enchantments to be rather effective against mobs.

There are different types of arrows in the game as well, including spectral, arrows, arrow of decay, arrow of fire resistance, arrow of harming, arrow of regeneration and arrow of snow falling among other different arrow types that you can make by combining a normal arrow with different in-game potions to achieve the desired effect. Regardless, you need a basic arrow first.

In order to craft an arrow, you need the following items.

  • 1 x Stick
  • 1 x Flintstone
  • 1 x Feature

Keep in mind that since crafting an arrow requires a 3 x 3 crafting grid, you’re also going to need a crafting table. Once you have the elements required, follow these steps.

Step 1: Walk up to your crafting table and right-click to interact.

Step 2: Place the flint, feathers and sticks in precisely the manner shown below.

Keep in mind that since arrows are stackable pieces, you can keep a maximum of 64 arrows in a single inventory slot. You can also only make 4 arrows at a time by stacking the crafting items.
