Picture frames in Minecraft

Much like their real-life counterparts, picture frames in Minecraft are used to display items in the game since there are no pictures. You can display any item you want inside a picture frame.

Crafting a picture frame

To make one, you’re going to require the following items.

  • 8 x Sticks: Can be made from wooden planks.
  • 1 x leather: Found by killing cattle.

Picture frames require a 3 x 3 crafting grid, meaning you’re going to need a crafting table at the ready. Once you’re good to go, follow these steps.

Step 1: Walk up to your crafting table and right-click to interact.

Using a picture frame

Once your picture frame is ready, walk up to a wall with the picture frame equipped and right-click to place it there. Once you’ve done that, you can equip the item you want to display in the picture frame and right-click while looking at the picture frame to place the item in there.
