How to print text messages from Android?

Text messaging has become a crucial way of easily keeping in touch with friends, family, and colleagues. However, there might be times when you want to print essential text messages from your Android device. This could be to keep sentimental conversations, save important information, or provide evidence in legal or personal situations.

Print text messages from Android to a wireless printer

If you have a wireless printer, then it is easier for you to take out a print of messages from an Android phone; the simplest way to take the printout of the messages on an Android phone is by taking a screenshot of the messages and then printing them, to do that follow the steps below.

  • Open the text message that you want to print and press the Volume down + Power button to take the screenshot
  • Edit the screenshot to your needs.
  • After editing the screenshots, tap on the Share button.
  • If you have more than one screenshot to print out, then on the share screen, select all the images and tap on the More button.
  • Scroll down, find the Print icon and tap on it.
  • On the next screen, select the printer and give the print command.

Convert text messages to PDF to send to PC in case you don’t have a wireless printer

If you don’t have a wireless printer, save the screenshots to PDF, send the PDF to your PC, and take the printout from your PC. The steps to save the screenshots to pdf are similar to directly printing them from the phone. To save them to PDF, follow the steps below.

  • Open the text message that you want to print and press the Volume down + Power button to take the screenshot
  • Edit the screenshot to your needs.
  • After editing the screenshots, tap on the Share button.
  • If you have more than one screenshot to print out, then on the share screen, select all the images and tap on the More button.
  • Scroll down, find the Print icon and tap on it.
  • On the next screen, tap on the Save as PDF button.
  • Tap on the Save button.
  • Copy the PDF file to your PC and then take its printout.

These are the most basic and simplest ways to take a printout of text messages from an Android phone. There are other methods as well, like third-party apps that create a backup of your text messages and then allow you to access them on your PC and take a printout of them, but we won’t suggest using third-party apps as it will compromise your privacy.
