The iPhone’s built-in calculator is a handy tool for quick calculations on the go, but you may need to review your previous calculations sometimes. There is no direct way to access the calculator history on an iPhone. However, some ways allow the users to revisit your past calculations.

Check the calculator history on the iPhone
Here are three workarounds that will help you access the calculator history on your iPhone:
Copy the last result
If you want to quickly see and copy the last result of your calculation on your device, you can use the app shortcut. This makes it easy to access and duplicate your most recent calculation. Here’s how to do it:

- Find the Calculator app on your phone, tap and hold the Calculator app icon.
- Tap the Copy Last Result option to copy the last calculation result in the app.
You can also access the Calculator app by tapping and holding its icon in the control centre to copy the last result.
Use the memory function
The memory feature lets you save results and typed numbers while calculating. This makes it easy to remember and reuse results or continue with intricate calculations, just like you would on a regular calculator. Follow the steps below to use the memory function in the calculator app:
Step 1: Go to the Calculator app on your iPhone and calculate something as you normally would.
Step 2: Now switch your device to landscape mode and tap on the m+ key to store the current result in the calculator memory.

Step 3: Tap on the mr key to recall the number stored in the memory.

Step 4: You also have access to the following memory functions to help you make the most of your results.

- Memory Recall (mr): This function helps you retrieve the result or number currently saved in the calculator memory.
- Memory Clear (mc): Use this function to delete and clear the numbers stored in the calculator memory.
- Memory Add (m+): With this option, you can add the number currently displayed on your screen to the one stored in the calculator’s memory. For instance, if you have 2 on your screen and 5 in the memory, using the mr function next time will show 7 on your screen.
- Memory Subtract (m-): This function allows you to subtract the current number on your screen from the one stored in your calculator’s memory. For example, if your calculator memory holds 7 and your screen displays 5, the next time you use mr, 2 will be shown on your screen.

Use third-party apps
Using third-party calculator apps is an excellent way to check your iPhone calculation history. Unlike the built-in app that doesn’t provide a feature to view or save your history, numerous third-party apps allow you to do this and come with various extra features.
