How to turn off ChromeVox on Chromebook using the keyboard shortcut?
One of the easiest ways to toggle anything is Chromebook keyboard shortcuts.
If you want to turn off Chromevox on Chromebook, press CTRL + ALT + Z. You can use the same shortcut to enable Chromevox again.
Turning off ChromeVox on Chromebook in tablet mode
If you’re using the Chromebook in tablet mode, press and hold the Volume down and Volume up buttons for approximately five seconds to turn off Chromevox mode. Once you hear a sound, the mode is disabled.
To enable Chromevox again, follow the same steps, and you’ll hear a sound — keep pressing the buttons until Chromevox starts speaking.

How to turn off ChromeVox on Chromebook using Settings?
Step 1: Open Chromebook’s settings either using the notification menu from the home screen or open the Settings app from the app menu.
Step 2: Then select Advanced, located near the bottom of the options towards the left.
Step 3: Click on Accessibility, followed by Manage accessibility features.
Step 4: On the next page, click on the toggle button beside Enable ChromeVox (spoken feedback) to disable or enable the feature.
