Lenovo announces new ThinkCentre Neo desktops

Lenovo announced its ThinkCentre Neo lineup in India on Monday. The lineup consists of two tower desktops, the Neo 50s and Neo 50t, and an all-in-one desktop, the Neo 30a 24.

All three models are in their third generation on launch and are available for ordering via Lenovo’s local sales teams. 

Similar to its ThinkPad lineup, the ThinkCentre lineup consists of enterprise-focused desktops suited to everyday productivity features and power management space saving and comes with workspace collaboration features.

ThinkCentre Neo 50s

The ThinkCentre Neo 50s, more specifically, Neo 50s Gen 3, is a small form factor desktop with up to 12th gen Intel Core i9 processors, up to 64GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM and two storage drives, including one 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD as well as one 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.

The desktop can be purchased with either Windows 11 Home or Pro based on workspace requirements and has Intel XE DG1 graphics.

ThinkCentre Neo 50t

The ThinkCentre Neo 50t is a tower desktop in a 13.6L case and features the same specs as the Neo 50s in terms of processors and RAM. You can get up to the 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and up to 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM.

It does, however, miss out on an SSD, coming with just one 1TB 7200 RPM HDD instead. Integrated Intel UHD 770 graphics handles graphics.

ThinkCentre Neo 30a 24

The new all-in-one in the lineup can be specced with up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7, up to 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM (SODIMM instead of UDIMM), has a 1TB 5400RPM HDD for mass storage as well as a 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD to handle OS loading and other data speed-sensitive tasks. 

The display is a 23.8-inch FHD panel with slim bezels, up to 250 nits brightness and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The panel also features an anti-glare coating with TUV Low Blue Light and Low-Frequency Flash certifications.

Graphics are integrated and will depend on the CPU of choice. There’s a 720p camera and a 5MP IR sensor for Windows Hello. You get dual onboard mics for audio and a set of two 3W speakers tuned by Harman.
