If you have recently bought an iPhone or are already a proud owner of one, you might need a good phone cover. To protect your asset is the number one goal, and getting a good cover works towards that goal. One of the best cases on the market is the Otterbox series. It comes from iPhone 11 to iPhone 13, iPad, and Samsung Galaxy series.
In this article, we will be comparing two types of phone covers in the Otterbox collection. You can choose the one best adapted to your environment.
The Otterbox Symmetry Series comes in Strawberry Pink, Teal, Feelin’ Blue, Black, Stardust (Clear Glitter), In the Red, and many other shades. The Otterbox Symmetry Series is stylish, slim and light to hold. This series now comes with Apple’s MagSafe charger for all colours, allowing you to charge your iPhone without removing the phone cover.
It has a plastic back case which allows it to slide around when kept on its back, but rubber material surrounds the edges. This keeps the phone scratch-proof and gives the user a good grip on their phone. It has a plastic ridge around the optics at the phone’s backside to keep it off any surface.

The Otterbox Commuter Series offers double-layer protection with a second easily removable case. The inner case has a rubber material with soft edges to absorb shocks. The outer case is made of a hard plastic material that keeps the phone drop-protected. The Commuter case also offers port protection not found in Symmetry cases.
Commuter cases can be bulkier than Symmetry cases because of the double-layer protection. However, if your priority is safety, Commuter cases are the best in that aspect. They have a plastic ridge around the optics and two small rubber paddings at the bottom to provide stability.
