How to post on Reddit?

There are ways to post on Reddit — on the computer and using the Reddit app.

On the website via a PC

To post on Reddit using a computer, follow the steps given below.

  • Open the Reddit account.
  • On the top right, click on the inverted pen button located at the left on the profile picture. (Look at the screenshot above to get an idea).

  • Now, click on Choose a community option to select the community where you want to post.
  • After you have selected the community, enter the title of your post in the Title box.
  • Now, enter some text to explain your post or give an idea to the readers what your post will be like. (This step is optional).
  • After you have entered the text, choose a tag for your post. For example, if you post contains some NFSW element, you can choose NFSW. Or, select spoilers tag if you are planning to post spoilers of a TV series or a book.
  • Once you are through with the above steps, click on POST option at the bottom right of the screen. (As is shown in the screenshot).

In case you want to delete the post on Reddit, there are two ways to do so -- on the computer and from the app. We will explain to you both the methods in detail. On the computer If you want to delete the post on a computer, follow the steps given below. Click on the three horizontal dots at the bottom of the post. (Check the screenshot above to get an idea). Now, click on the Delete option on the drop-down menu. Confirm the process by selecting the DELETE POST option. Your post will be deleted and Post deleted successfully message will be shown on the screen. Using Reddit app To delete the post using the Reddit app, follow the instructions given below. Open the Reddit app. Select the post that you want to delete. Now, tap on the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen. Tap on Delete option from the drop-down menu. How to delete a post in Reddit?

In case you want to delete the post on Reddit, there are two ways to do so — on the computer and from the app. We will explain to you both the methods in detail.

On the website using a PC

If you want to delete the post on a computer, follow the steps given below.

  • Click on the three horizontal dots at the bottom of the post. (Check the screenshot above to get an idea).
  • Now, click on the Delete option on the drop-down menu.

  • Confirm the process by selecting the DELETE POST option.
  • Your post will be deleted and Post deleted successfully message will be shown on the screen.

Using the Reddit app

To delete the post using the Reddit app, follow the instructions given below.

  • Open the Reddit app.
  • Select the post that you want to delete.
  • Now, tap on the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen.
  • Tap on Delete option from the drop-down menu.
  • Confirm the process by again tapping on the DELETE option in red.

Your post will be deleted. You can refresh the homepage to see the changes if you don’t already.
