Roblox is an online platformer game that’s quite popular among adults and children alike. However, as popular as the game is, it isn’t immune to random bugs and glitches.

In this article, we’re looking at Roblox audio not working and giving you a few solutions to fix the problem.

Restart your PC

Restarting your PC to fix problems that appear out of nowhere isn’t something new. It’s one of the most straightforward solutions to seemingly random problems. Reboot your machine and try running Roblox again. That should resolve your issue.

Unplug your audio devices

Another thing that is pretty much similar is unplugging your audio devices and plugging them back in again. This can help restart the drivers that power your particular audio playback device and get around the error.

Check the audio device

Another thing you can do is check if the audio is going to the correct device. Windows can support multiple audio outputs but can only route audio to one at a time. Check if you’ve got the right audio device selected by clicking the volume icon and selecting the suitable device.

Run the audio troubleshooter

Windows 10 comes with many useful troubleshooters that can help resolve problems like this. Here’s how to run the audio troubleshooter.

Step 1: Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and click Open Sound settings.

Reinstall Roblox

If nothing else works, your best bet is to reinstall Roblox from scratch to see if that solves the problem. Remove the app from your computer and download it again using either the Microsoft or Apple app store or download it again from the Roblox website.
