On Thursday, Samsung announced two new additions to its Galaxy A series smartphone lineup — the Galaxy A50s and A30s that sport a new stylish look, better battery and high-resolution display and a versatile camera.

The new smartphones will have new exciting design features such as unique geometric pattern and holographic effects on the back. The smartphones are available in four new colours —  Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet, which will give them a rich look and feel.

High performing 4,000mAh battery along with AI-based Game Booster will be a boon for high-performance gaming users.

“Smartphones are a vital part of people’s lives, connecting them, allowing them to share their experiences and engage with the world, so users know people want and need to get the most out of their devices,” said YeonJeong Kim, Vice President and Head of Innovative Product Planning Group, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.

The company is yet to announce the price and release dates of the devices. We’ll update this section as soon as they do.

Samsung Galaxy A50s Specs

Following are the major specs of the Galaxy A50s.

• Display: The Samsung Galaxy A50s comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED ‘Infinity-U Display’.
• Camera: The device has a triple-camera setup with a 48MP(F2.0) main lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 5MP depth lens. The ultra-wide camera will have a 123° viewing angle which resembling the human eye. The front camera is of 32 MP(F2.0).
• Processor: The device is powered by an octa-core processor that clocks up to 2.3GHz (Quad 2.3GHz + Quad 1.7GHz)
• Storage: Galaxy A50s comes in two options of 64Gb and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512 GB.
• Memory: It comes in two options of 4 and 6 Gb RAM.
• Battery: The device sports a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W Fast Charging.
• Biometrics: On-Screen Fingerprint.
• Measurement: 158.5 x 74.5 x 7.7mm.
• Colour: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet.

The device also sports a Super Steady feature allowing the users to shoot fast-paced videos at considerable ease.

Galaxy A30s specs

Following are the major specs of Galaxy A30s.

• Display: The Samsung Galaxy A30s comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ (720×1560)  Super AMOLED ‘Infinity-V Display’.
• Camera: The device has a triple-camera setup which comes with a 25MP(F1.7) primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens with 5MP depth lens, with Live Focus. The front camera is of 16 MP(F2.0).
• Processor: The device is powered by an octa-core processor that clocks up to 1.8GHz (Dual 1.8GHz + Hexa 1.6Hz)
• Storage: Galaxy A30s comes in three options of 32GB, 64Gb and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512 GB.
• Memory: It comes in two options of 3 and 4 Gb RAM.
• Battery: The device sports a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W Fast Charging.
• Biometrics: On-screen Fingerprint
• Colour: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, Prism Crush Green and Prism Crush Violet
• Measurement: 158.5 x 74.7 x 7.8mm

Both the smartphones — Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30s will allow the users to connect to a range of services available in the Galaxy ecosystem apps like Samsung Health, Samsung Pay, Knox, among others.
