Samsung Galaxy Watch 2 Under Armour edition: What’s new?

A few days after announcing the Galaxy Watch Active 2, Samsung has launched a special edition of the watch in collaboration with Under Armour, which the company says is ‘designed for dedicated runners’.

The special edition will go on sale the same day as the regular one — September 27 — but will be available at a $30 premium at $309 for the Bluetooth version as no LTE version has been announced.

Samsung Galaxy Active 2 Under Armour edition comes with new features such as real-time form and fitness coaching, and six months of free premium access to MapMyRun; though the subscription may differ depending on the country.

The fitness data is be collected either using the smartwatch or a connected Under Armour footwear. This data is visualised for the users, who also get audio cues during workouts. Post-workouts, users receive in-depth analysis and tips on their smartphone.
