Samsung unveiled a new addition to its Odyssey monitor lineup, the 49-inch widescreen Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor that comes with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.
Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NA) will be available for pre-order globally starting July 29 and will be available for retail on August 9, 2021. The price for the monitor hasn’t been announced yet.
The Neo G9 comes with a 32:9 aspect ratio and 5120 x 1440 screen resolution. As mentioned above, the monitor also boasts a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time (based on Grey to Grey industry-standard measurement).

It builds upon the previous Odyssey G9 launch in 2020 and comes with a quantum mini LED display, which the company claims have more LEDs than Samsung 2020 UHD TV.

“Introducing the Odyssey Neo G9 equipped with the world-first Quantum Mini-LED display, we are once again excited to offer state-of-the-art gaming experience to our consumers and demonstrate our continued leadership in the market,” said Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics.
