The Access Point 22 error code on Spotify happens because they’ve stopped supporting older versions of the Spotify desktop app. If you’re using a desktop app version older than 1.1.59, you won’t be able to log in.

How to fix the Access Point 22 error?

If you wish to fix the Spotify error code access point 22, your only option is to get the latest version of the Spotify desktop app. However, it has become impossible to update the desktop app versions older than 1.1.59 because Spotify has stopped supporting the older versions of the desktop app.

Deleting the support for the app won’t affect your playlist or premium subscription; your account is still active, and all your preferences and playlists will not be changed.

So, to fix this issue, you have to uninstall the older version of the Spotify desktop app and then reinstall the latest version.
