• You download the Twitch app on your streaming device. Once installed, it gives you a unique activation code.
• You head over to Twitch’s activation page and enter the code there.

Follow these steps to activate Twitch on your Roku device.

Step 1: Head over to the Channel Store and download the Twitch app by pressing the +Add Channel button.

As soon as you click the Activate button, your Twitch account will be linked and activated on your Roku.

How to enable Bits on Twitch?

Bits are Twitch’s in-house currency that allows viewers to make donations to their favourite streamers. However, it isn’t available to all streamers right from the get-go.

You see, to use bits or even enable them on your channel, you need to be either a Twitch Affiliate or a Partner. This means meeting specific criteria to even qualify for these labels.

Once you have, though, you can enable bits by following these steps. 

Step 1: Head over to Twitch, click on your profile icon in the top right and then click on Creator Dashboard. 

Step 2: You’ll see a Preferences section in the left menu. Expand it and click on Affiliate (or Partner).

Step 3: From the Bits & Cheering menu, enable the Enable Cheering with Bits toggle. 

And that’s all you need to do to enable bits on your channel.
