Twitter is a rather popular social media network that started as a microblogging site. Since its launch in 2006, the team behind it has been working hard to bring new features and more stability to the platform, but just like everything tech, some things can go wrong at times.

Hard refresh your browser
The first thing you should try is hard resetting your browser. Hard-refreshing fetches the files from the server instead of using the browser’s cache to avoid the site you’re trying to visit malfunction due to corrupt cache data.

Clear your browser’s data
Corrupt files in your cache or otherwise can cause this error as well. Clear them out to see if you can get Twitter to work.
Step 1: Type in chrome://settings/clearBrowserData in your browser’s address bar and hit Enter.
Step 2: Select the cache and cookies options and make sure the Time range is set to All time. Click on the Clear now button to clear out all the data.

Check your PC’s time
If your PC’s date/time settings are incorrect, it can cause problems with multiple websites. Here’s how to fix them.
Step 1: Open Settings from the Start menu.
Step 2: Select Time & Language from the available options.
Step 3: For Windows to automatically determine your time, click on the toggle button below Set time automatically.
Step 4: Now click on the toggle button below Set time zone automatically option similarly for Windows to ascertain your time zone.
Twitter not working on Android or iOS
If you’re facing this issue on Android or iOS, try clearing out the Twitter app’s cache. Clearing the cache can get rid of many old files that might’ve been corrupted and causing issues with the app’s functionality.
