How to change your account picture and password in Windows 10?

Windows 10 is a completely new design from what we have seen in the previous years. Now being more widely used, Windows 10 is a near perfect operating system for computers and laptops — even tabs.

Being a multi-user operating system, it gives the flexibility to have more than a single user on the same machine, the OS manages this in the form of accounts. Every user gets the ability to choose their own security in the form of a password, PIN or Windows Hello login.

Follow the steps below to change your password and your default account picture.

Change your account picture on Windows 10

Step 1

Click on the Windows key on your keyboard and search for the Settings icon near the bottom left corner.

Step 2

Open Settings and click on the Accounts tab.

Step 3

You will see your account information, click on ‘Manage my Microsoft account’ to make changes and change your profile picture,

If you have set up your OS in sync with your Microsoft account, any changes made to your Microsoft account will reflect here.

For example, your Windows 10 account picture will be the same as your Microsoft account picture.

Change your password on Windows 10

Step 1

Click on the Windows key on your keyboard and look for the Settings icon near the bottom left corner.

Open Settings and click on the Accounts tab.

Step 3

Select ‘Sign-in options‘ from the left side and you will find an option that prompts to change the password.

(This will require you to log in to your Microsoft account)
