Trello is an app-based around productivity and teamwork that can help your team get up to speed on its tasks rather quickly. The whole concept revolves around boards that can keep track of tasks, both completed and pending.

In this article, we’re talking about Trello boards, and how you can copy them.

What is a Trello board and why would you want to copy one?

Consider a Trello board, the digital equivalent of a whiteboard. Just as you’d put all the tasks for your team up on a whiteboard with different sticky notes, you can put up tasks for your team on a Trello board with different cards neatly categorised into different categories.

That said, making a proper Trello board can be quite the task. While it may seem simple at first, you’ll soon realise that there are so many customisations and control that you can spend hours building the perfect board.

Luckily enough, Trello offers board templates to help managers get their boards up and running rather quickly and with ease. There’s also the feature to copy an existing board. This can be really helpful if you want to modify aboard for another project but want to keep everything else intact.

Boards for recurring tasks or chores can also be easily created by duplicating an existing board.
