Hinge dating app rolled out in 2012 and with considerable hiccups on the way has not only sustained but with time has become more popular and user-friendly. How to delete the Hinge account permanently?

Note that once the account is permanently deleted, you will lose your matches, messages and other information associated with your account.

• Login to the account you wish to delete.
• Tap on the profile settings button on the bottom right corner of the screen.
• On the follow-up screen, tap on the Account settings button.

• Now scroll down to the bottom of the screen to locate and tap on the Delete Account switch.
• The app will ask you to give the final confirmation; hit the Confirm delete button to proceed with your decision.

Your Hinge account will be deleted alongwith any data associated with it; however, the company might retain some of your basic information to comply with law enforcement requests, depending on the jurisdiction.

If you subscribed to a paid membership, it’s recommended to take the necessary steps and cancel your subscription (which will run until the expiry date) to ensure you are not charged an auto-renewal subscription fee.
