Add apps to Discord profile
Usually, Discord automatically detects the program or game you’re running on your PC. However, failure to do so can lead to issues while sharing your screen with others, including no audio. Here’s how to fix this.
Step 1: Head over to Discord (make sure your game or program is already running) and click on the settings gear icon next to your username.
Step 2: Head over to Activity Status and click on Add it.
Step 3: This will show a pop up from adding any running program to Discord.
Switch to windowed mode
This one-off bug affects a few users across the program’s user base. If you’re showing an application or game in the full-screen mode, chances are your audio might not go through.
The solution to this? Run whatever program or game it is in windowed mode, and you should hear the audio output just fine in the stream.

Clear Discord cache folder
Clearing out Discord’s cache and files will force the program to redownload them and eliminate any corrupt files that may be causing this issue in the process.

Step 2: Right-click on Discord and click Run as administrator.
Make sure that the program you’re trying to stream is running with admin privileges as well, and try sharing your screen again.

If none of the methods mentioned above worked for you, your last resort is to reinstall Discord. Here’s how.
Step 1: Right-click on the taskbar and click on Task Manager.
Step 2: Under the Processes tab, find any running Discord processes and close them by right-clicking them and selecting End Process.

Step 4: Find Discord in the list, click on it and select Uninstall.
Now head over to the Discord website to download the program’s latest version and install it on your PC. This should fix the Discord screen share not working error.
