How to edit a footer in PowerPoint?
Step 1: Open your PowerPoint presentation and select the slide whose footer you want to edit. If you want to edit more than one slide’s footer, press Ctrl key and select the slides. Now click on Insert from the toolbar at the top and then on Header & Footer from the options below. Step 2: On the pop-up window, click on Slide tab and then edit the footer text below Footer heading alongwith a toggle box. Once you’ve edited the text, click on the Apply button to save the changes to the slides you’ve selected. If you want to edit the footer on all the slides in your presentation, click on Apply to All button.Â
How to hide footer from the title slide?
To hide the footer from the title slide (first slide) of your presentation, follow Step 1, as mentioned above. Then, in Step 2 at the bottom of the pop-up box, click on the box beside Don’t show on title slide option at the bottom so that a tick mark appears. Then click on the Apply button. How to add and edit a header in PowerPoint?
Step 1: Open your PowerPoint presentation and select the slide where you want to add or edit a header. If you want to edit or add the header to more than one slide, press Ctrl key and select the slides. Now click on Insert from the toolbar at the top and then on Header & Footer from the options below. Step 2: On the pop-up window, click on the Notes and Handouts tab and then click on the toggle box beside Header and then add the header text in the box below. You can also edit the header text here if it was already added to the slides. Once you’re done, click on the Apply to All button.
