Trade tokens are used for trading cards in Clash Royale. Every type of cards can be traded by the particular trade tokens. For example, Legendary cards can be traded by Legendary trade tokens only.
Trade tokens can only be used in your clan to exchange cards with your clanmates and upgrade your cards to make your deck stronger.

Getting Trade token
As shown in the screenshot below there are four types of trade tokens
- Legendary trade tokens used to trade legendary cards, you can exchange only one legendary card.
- Epic trade tokens used to trade epic cards, you can exchange only 10 epic cards.
- Rare trade tokens used to trade rare cards, you can exchange up to 50 rare cards.
- Common trade tokens used to trade common cards, you can exchange up to 250 common cards.
You cannot buy trade tokens from store or anywhere so the only way to get trade tokens is by playing the game and earning trade tokens by doing the following.
- Play battles to earn different chests and if you are lucky you will get trade token in the chests.
- Complete quests and win different rewards and chests.
- Play party battles to earn extra chests and increase your chances to get trade tokens.
- Play clan wars because the highest probability of getting trade tokens are in the clan war chests.
- Participate in events as Clash Royale keeps on updating many events to keep the game more interesting and there are many events in which you get trade tokens so keep on playing all the events.

How to use trade tokens
Launch the game then open the social tab and follow the steps below to trade cards via trade tokens.
- Tap on Trade cards (in yellow box) button on the bottom left just above the tab options.
- Tap on the card you want to trade and then tap on Request button.
- Then on the next screen select cards to give away by tapping on the cards and tapping on the Add button.
- After selecting all four cards you can give away tap on Trade button (in green box) button on the top right corner of the trade screen.
- A confirmation box will appear tap on Confirm button (refer to the screenshot below).
- You will see your card trade request in the clan chatbox.
