Your bio on Threads is a mini introduction for your friends. It’s a chance to show off your personality and give people a glimpse into who you are. If you use the Threads website more frequently than the Threads mobile app and you wish to change the Bio then follow the steps below to do that:
Step 1: Open the Threads website, log in to your account and click on the Profile tab in the icon bar on the left side.
Step 2: Click on the Edit profile button.
Step 3: Now, in the profile information click on the Bio option.
Step 4: Delete the old bio, type in the new one or you can also click on the Import bio from Instagram to copy the Instagram bio to your Threads profile. After that click on the Done button.
Step 5: Finally, click on the Done button of the profile info. box.
Change Bio on Threads using the mobile app
The steps to change the bio on Threads using the Threads mobile app are similar to the steps to change it on website, but still we will show you the steps to change bio on Threads mobile app for better clarity:
- Open the Threads mobile app and tap on the Profile icon.
- Tap on the Bio option.
- Change the old bio by deleting the old bio and typing in the new one, you can also import the bio from your Instagram profile. After yu are done, tap on the Tick mark icon at the top right corner of the screen.
- Now, tap on the Done button.
