This process only hides the badge, it doesn’t deactivate your Threads account. You can still access Threads if you have the app installed. Start by launching the Instagram app on your mobile device. Make sure you’re logged into the account from which you want to remove Threads information. Here’s how you can remove the Threads from your bio:

  • Tap on the Profile picture tab at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • Now, click on the Edit profile button, available below the bio.
  • Turn the toggle on beside the Show Thread badge option.
  • As you can in the image below the Thread badge has been removed from the Instagram bio.

Removing the Threads badge gives you more control over the information you display on your profile. This freed-up space can be used to add a call to action, highlight other social media profiles, or showcase your creativity with emojis or symbols. If you ever change your mind and want to display the Threads badge again, you can follow the same steps to enable it again.

By following these steps, you can easily remove any Threads-related information from your Instagram bio and keep your profile looking clean and professional.
