YouTube is one of the most popular video streaming platforms and has existed for some time. However, with short-form video content now getting popular with the masses, it introduced Shorts as a way to compete with rivals.

Shorts are, as the name suggests, shorter YouTube videos (up to 60 seconds long) and are shot in a vertical format instead of the traditional landscape videos we see.

You can make these using the YouTube app on platforms like Instagram or TikTok. However, suppose you’re putting in some work in your video. In that case, you’d most likely want to shoot and edit it individually on a different camera than your smartphone’s and edit it on a program that’ll give you more control.

This article discusses how you can upload YouTube Shorts from your PC, as that’s the most likely destination for your final edit.
