Here are the steps to schedule an email in Outlook.
Step 1: Open Outlook and then click on the Home tab at the top. After that click on the New Email option. Look at the screenshot below to understand the details. Step 2: A new window will open where you can compose the email. In this new window, click on Options at the top. Step 3: Click on Delay Delivery tap in the Options menu.Step 4: Again a new window will open. In this new window, go to the Do not deliver before option and then set the date and time which you prefer. Here, I have selected the date as March 2, 2020, and the time is 9 AM. Step 5: When you are done with the formalities, click Close. Now complete the email and then click Send. The email will be saved in the Outbox folder until the delivery time that you have set. How to send the scheduled email instantly?
In case, you want to send the email instantly rather than later, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Open the Outbox folder and then double click on the email to open it.Step 2: Now, expand the Tag option by clicking on the Message options which is represented by the diagonal arrow.Step 3: Now, clear the date and time in the Do not deliver before option.Step 4: When you are done, click Close and then Send to send the message That’s it. By following the above steps, you can easily set the timer on the messages and can streamline your workflow.
