How to change Zoom video to picture on the PC app?
The process is rather easy, all you need to do is set up a proper profile picture. After that, every time you disable your video, your profile picture will take its place.
Step 1: Open up Zoom and click on your existing profile picture in the top-right. From the menu that opens, click on My Profile.
Step 2: You’ll be taken to the Zoom web dashboard. Under your current profile picture, which will just be your initials if you haven’t set one up yet, click Change.
Step 3: The Change Picture window will open. Click on the Upload button and open up the image you want to set as your profile picture.
Now every time you disable your video in a Zoom meeting, this profile picture will be shown instead.
Changing your profile picture in a meeting
In case you’re already inside a meeting, you can also quickly change or set a picture using these steps.
Step 1: Right-click on your name in the Zoom meeting. From the context menu that shows up, click on Edit Profile Picture.
Step 2: Click on Change Picture select the picture you want.
Step 3: Adjust the picture to your liking and click Save.
Now your profile picture will take up your video’s space.

How to change video to picture in the Zoom mobile app?
If you’re on the Zoom phone app, the process is similar to what it is on the PC app. Just follow along.
- Open the Zoom app and tap on Settings in the bottom right.
- Tap on your account.
- Tap on your profile picture.
- Tap on Choose Photo and select the photo you want. You can also tap on Take Photo if you’d like to take one and use.
- Make any adjustments if you need to and tap on Done.
- Tap on Save and you’re good to go.
And that’s all, now every time you disable your video, your picture will take its place.
How to delete your Zoom profile picture?
In case you’re looking to go back and remove your profile picture, you’re going to have to resort to using the Zoom web interface.
Step 1: Open up Zoom and click on your existing profile picture in the top-right. From the menu that opens, click on My Profile.
Step 2: You’ll be taken to the Zoom web dashboard. Under your current profile picture, which will just be your initials if you haven’t set one up yet, click Delete.

How to view someone else’s Zoom profile picture?
If you’re looking to see what profile pictures other are using, you’re going to have to disable their video. Note that you can only do this if you’re the host of the meeting.
Simply right-click on a video feed in Zoom and click Stop VIdeo. Their video will now be replaced with whatever profile picture they’re using You will have to give them permission to restart their video feed so keep that in mind.
Hide non-video participants in Zoom
If you’re not keen on looking at pictures instead of people, all you need to do is right-click inside the meeting and click on Hide Non-video Participants.
Doing so will hide everyone in the meeting who doesn’t have their cameras enabled.
How to unhide participants?

Step 1: Click on the view button in the top right.
