Turn off Zoom video camera by default?
You can also disable the Zoom video camera before entering a Zoom meeting using the in-app settings by following the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Click on the Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select Video from the left side menu then check the box beside Turn Off My Video When Joining A Meeting to make it a default setting.

Step 1: Open the Zoom desktop client application then click on the small arrow, located next to New Meeting option.

- Tap on the screen to activate the toolbar. Then tap on Stop Video-the video camera icon located on the bottom toolbar of the screen to turn off your video in the meeting.
- To turn on your video, tap on the Start Video option.

You can also disable the Zoom video camera before entering a Zoom meeting using the in-app settings. Follow the steps below to turn off your camera on Zoom app by default.
- Tap on the Settings icon located on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select Meetings from the list of options to open meeting settings.
- To turn off the camera when joining a Zoom meeting, tap on the toggle button beside Always Turn Off My Video option.

- Open Zoom application on your mobile device then tap on New Meeting.
- A pop-up screen will appear with list of options. Slide the Video On toggle to the left in order to disable the video camera before starting a meeting.

You can turn off your Zoom video camera before joining a meeting by following the steps given below.
- Open the Zoom app homepage, tap on Join.
- A pop-up screen will appear to enter the meeting ID. From the list of Join Options, slide the Turn Off My Video toggle to the left in order to disable the video camera before joining a meeting.
