TV broadcaster Sun TV’s on-demand content streaming platform called Sun Nxt, offers three subscription models based on monthly, quarterly and annual billings.
Like other popular streaming platforms such as Netflix, there’s a 30-day trial that users can avail after which the payments will start. There’s also Android and iOS apps as well as a website available to watch the Sun Nxt content on a host of devices, including smart TVs.

Sun Nxt plans to bring original content
The platform promises to offer over 4000 movies, TV shows, music videos and live TV in four major south Indian languages — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Sun TV plans to original content to the service as well. Users can also download the content and watch it locally using the apps.
Do keep in mind that many of Sun TV’s Telegu content is already available for streaming on Hungama Play. The company has also signed a multi-year deal with HOOQ for its content library, including several films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
