Facebook is by far one of the largest and most popular social media networks on the planet. So regardless of whether you’re making a new account or have been on the platform for a while, you’ll keep seeing new suggestions for people you may know on Facebook.
The platform has a slew of features to keep users engaged and their circles expanding. If someone in your contacts or otherwise signs up on the platform or is already present, you also get a notification suggesting potential friends. The same thing happens with any mutual people you might have your friends.
However, for those who want to keep their online presence to themselves and aren’t interested in adding friends by the dozens, here’s how you can turn off friend suggestions on Facebook.
