You can by default disable your audio and video before entering a Zoom meeting. Follow the steps given below to disable audio and video by default.
- Tap on the Settings icon located on the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select Meetings from the list of options to open meeting settings.
- In order to mute your microphone when joining a meeting, turn on the Always Mute My Microphone option by sliding the toggle to the right.
- In order to turn off the video when joining a meeting, turn on the Always Turn Off My Video option by sliding the toggle to the right.

Step 1: Click on the Settings icon on the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Select Audio from the left side menu then check Mute My Mic When Joining A Meeting to make it a default setting.
Step 3: Select Video from the left side menu then check Turn Off My Video When Joining A Meeting to make it a default setting.
