Now while earlier if you bought a chessboard, you were stuck with the way it looked until you got yourself a new one, Chess.com allows you to customise the look of your board as well as the entire website or app.
In this article, we’re going to discuss how you can change the default theme on Chess.com on PC as well as its Android and iOS apps.

Changing Chess.com’s theme on PC
Login to your account on Chess.com and follow the steps mentioned below to choose a new theme for your chessboard.
Step 1: Click on Home option at the top-left of the website (below the Chess.com logo). Then from the list of options, tap on Theme.

Alternatively, you can also click on Settings at the bottom-left and then on Theme.
Step 2: On the next page, you’ll see a list of pre-loaded themes (shown below) that you can choose from; each with a different look for the boards as well as the entire app or website.

Choosing Chess.com theme on Android and iOS
Launch the Chess.com app on your Android or iOS device and follow the steps mentioned below to change the theme of the app and chessboard.

- Tap on the More tab at the bottom-right of the app.
- Then tap on the Settings option.
- On the next page, tap on Theme.
- On the next page, you’ll see a list of pre-loaded themes (shown below) that you can choose from; each with a different look for the boards as well as the entire app or website.
