How to find out whether your phone supports wireless charging?

Below, we have explained a few ways to help you figure out whether your smartphone supports wireless charging.

Check User Manual

When you get a new smartphone, and you’re unsure if it can charge wirelessly, look at the user’s guide that comes with it. This guide is a little book in the smartphone’s box. It has information about your phone, what it can do, and how to set it up. Reading it carefully lets you discover how your phone can be charged, whether wired, wirelessly or both.

Check the Manufacturer’s Website

Another way to check if your smartphone supports wireless charging is by visiting the company’s official website that made your device. Just go to their website, type in your phone’s model in the search box, and you’ll see all the details about your phone. Look through the specifications carefully.

Check on different websites

If you can’t find your phone’s user manual or don’t know your device’s manufacturer’s website, you can use good websites to find out if your phone can do wireless charging. These websites have accurate information about your smartphones and other gadgets. Two good examples are GSMArena and PhoneArena.

Visit one of these websites and enter your phone’s name or model in the search box. You’ll see all the details about your device. Check the section about the battery; if it mentions Wireless charging, your phone can be charged wirelessly. If it doesn’t mention wireless charging, your phone can only be charged with cables.
