How long AirPods takes to fast charge?

Apple made AirPods to charge up fast, making them handy for people who are always on the move. According to Apple, AirPods 2 gives you up to 3 hours of listening time after only 15 minutes in the charging case. AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro are also quick, offering about 1 hour of listening time after just 5 minutes of charging.


How long AirPods takes to fully charge?

People often want to know how much time it takes to completely charge AirPods from empty to full. Even though Apple doesn’t officially share the exact numbers, feedback from real users gives us a good idea. It seems that AirPods 2 need somewhere between 20 to 30 minutes for a full charge. It’s worth mentioning that they can reach more than 50 percent in just 15 minutes.

On the other hand, AirPods Pro might take around 60 minutes to fully recharge. Users on MacRumors Forums mention that the charging process slows down a lot after reaching 98 percent. Apple might intentionally slow down the charging speed in the final stages to ensure the long-term health of AirPods Pro batteries.

How long a single charge lasts?

With just one charge, your AirPods can provide you with four to six hours of listening time and up to three hours of talk time, depending on the specific AirPods model you own. Additionally, the AirPods charging case has the capacity to fully recharge your AirPods three to four times, offering you nearly a full day of continuous listening enjoyment.


Do Airpods come with a charger?

All AirPods models come with an accompanying charging case, included in the purchase. Depending on the model, users have different case options. First and second-generation AirPods come with a case that charges via a Lightning to USB-C cable also included in the box. Users can opt to buy a wireless charging case for $79.

AirPods Gen-3 come with either a Lightning charging case or a MagSafe Charging Case for an extra $10. AirPods Pro, in both generations, come with a MagSafe Charging case. Users can charge these cases by cable if they prefer. It’s important to note that none of the models include a charging block for the wall.
