Using the WiFi router setting on your iPhone to find the password
Router settings are one of the easiest and most accurate methods of finding your WiFI password, given that your phone is connected to the WiFi. Go to your iPad or iPhone’s settings and follow the steps below to find the WiFi password via the router settings.
- Select the Wi-Fi option on the settings page.

- On the next page, copy the string of numbers beside the Router option.
- Open Safari browser on your iPhone and paste or type what you copied above and hit go
- This will take you to the router page (iBaton, in this case), and you’ll be required to log in there. Most likely, if you haven’t modified the login details for this page when you go to the router, you can find the default settings either on the router’s website or via your internet provider.
- Select the operation mode as Router and tap on the Next button.
- This will open your router’s WAN settings. Here tap on the Next button again.
- On the next Wireless Settings page, tap on the Pass Phrase option at the bottom, and it will display your WiFi password.
You can now use this password to manually put it into your other devices to connect it to your network. It’s important to note that the steps mentioned above are for the iBaton router, and it might be slightly different for you depending on the make and model of your router and your ISP.
