Windows 11 has many useful features, but not everyone is a fan of Bing being integrated into the operating system. If you prefer to use a different search engine or want to streamline your experience, you can remove Bing from Windows 11.

Disable Bing from the settings
Follow the steps below to disable Bing from the start menu through settings.
Step 1: Press the Windows + I keys to open the settings.
Step 2: Click on Privacy & Security in the sidebar. On the right side of the screen scroll down, find Search permissions and click on it.
Step 3: Turn both the toggles off under the Cloud content search section.
Step 4: Scroll down further and turn the toggle off beside Show search highlights under the More settings section.

Disable Bing through Registry Editor
You can use the Registry Editor to disable the Bing from the start menu. To do that, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Type regedit in the Windows search and click on the first option.
Step 2: Copy and paste Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows in the navigation bar.
Step 3: Right-click in the Windows folder, click on New, then Key. A new subfolder will be created under the Windows folder; rename it to Explorer.
Step 4: Right-click in the newly created folder, Explorer, and click on New and DWORD (32-bit) Value. A new DWORD value will be created; rename it to DisableSearchBoxSuggestions.
Step 5: Now, double-click the newly created DWORD value.
Step 6: Now, in the Value data box set its value to 1.
