Step 1: Click on the Start Menu icon and then click on the Settings option.

Step 2: In the settings, click on the System option.

Step 3: In the System settings, scroll down and click on the About option located in the left panel and then click on the Advanced system settings available under Related settings on the right side of the screen.

Step 4: In the system property box, click on the Hardware tab and then click on the Device Installation Settings button.

Step 5: Select the No option in the box that appeared and then click on the Save Changes button and restart your PC.

Once you have changed these settings, the Windows will not reinstall the driver updates that are already installed in your PC.
