MSI is majorly in the hardware business but makes some great software utilities to go along with its products. Dragon Center and AfterBurner are two great tools that can help make the gaming experience on your PC better.

Why isn’t Dragon Center working?

There are many reasons why Dragon Center might suddenly stop working on your PC. It could be a broken installation, missing MSI SDK, or a broken update. 

Getting blocked by the firewall and stuck waiting for SDK initialisation are two of the most common errors you’ll encounter when dealing with Dragon Center.


How to fix the MSI Dragon Center not working issue?

Pretty much every problem with MSI’s Dragon Center requires a clean install as most issues arise from any of MSI’s services not functioning as they should; you can try to restart them manually. Still, chances are it’ll just cause more headaches as most of these services are interdependent.

Here’s what you need to do. 

Step 1: Press Windows key + X to open the Quick Access menu and click on Apps & Features.

Step 2: Find Dragon Center in this list and click on Uninstall.

Step 3: Head over to the following directory and delete the Dragon Center folder.

Step 4: Now, reboot your computer to complete the installation process. Ensure no files are left in the Dragon Center folder in the step mentioned above.

Step 5: Head over to the official MSI website to download and install the latest version of Dragon Center. Keep in mind that you may have to download a different version or variant depending upon your particular MSI hardware.
