Chrome extensions often add extremely helpful functionality to not only Chrome but any other Chromium-based browser. These features are often not found natively in just about any browser and based on your workflow, can make life a lot easier. However, they might not always work as expected.

How to fix the Typio form recovery extension?
Here are five fixes you can try out.
Reinstall the extension
The first thing you should do is try and reinstall the extension. Not only will this ensure that you have the latest available version of the extension but also remove any corrupt files or data that might be hampering the extension’s functionality.

Disable other extensions
At times other extensions can cause issues with Typio form recovery not behaving as it should. If you’ve recently installed any new extensions, they may be causing this issue.
Head over to chrome://extensions/ and try disabling any other extensions one by one until you get Typio form working again.

Clear Chrome cache
More often than not buggy files in the cache can cause a number of issues. Try clearing Chrome’s cache to see if your issue gets resolved.
Step 1: Type in chrome://settings/clearBrowserData in your browser’s address bar and hit Enter.
Step 2: Select the cache and cookies options and make sure the Time range is set to All time. Click on the Clear now button to clear out all the data.
Reset Chrome’s settings
If nothing else works, you can try simply resetting Chrome. Here’s how.
Step 1: Head over to chrome://settings/reset. Click on Restore settings to their original defaults.
Step 2: Chrome will show you a warning prompt. Click on Reset Settings, and your browser will reset to default settings.
Try an alternative
If nothing else works, you might want to try forks of the Typio form extension that can work and add some extra functionality on top.
