Method 1: via the Events option
The Events option is the first method to play the 2v2 battle mode in Clash Royale. Here’s how you can do this:
- Open Clash Royale and then tap on the Events option on the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap on Battle.
- Next, tap on Play with Friend or Quick match to start the match.

The second way to play a 2v2 battle in Clash Royale is via the Friendly Battle option.
